Who are "The Bookouts" band members?
We are blessed to have so many wonderful and talented friends whom we play music with on a regular basis! When we decided to come together, as a band this summer, we called on a few people to join us for our weeks with CIY MOVE. These people are not only very talented at their instrument(s) but they also have a desire to see people connect with the Lord of all creation. We just wanted to introduce them to you all so that you can get to know who they are and what they do!
BRIAN BOTHWELL
Brian is a fan of the finer things in life. You can find him spending most of his time eating bean and cheese burritos and an assortment of sweet goods. Obviously, he is very gifted in the area of percussion! Brian attended CSUN where he studied Jazz performance. Brian is one of the kindest hearted individuals we know and is a joy to have in the band. Brian is also headed to the Czech Republic at the beginning of next year to partner with a mission organization known as "Josiah Venture". JAYME LEWIS
Jayme is a man of many talents and entrepreneurial endeavors. He is a national touring bassist and studio musician, a record producer, author and music educator. Not only is he a fine musician, but he also has a desire to see others develop their God-given talents in music and use those talents to bring glory to Jesus. Jayme has a plethora of resources for musicians, young and old, regardless of your background in music (check out some of his websites below). Jayme and his wife reside in the Northern Los Angeles area with their beautiful stuffed pet shark "Bruce".

ANDIE GUERRERO
Andie is a guitarist who is eager to use her talents to glorify Jesus Christ. It's evident in every chord or lead line she plays, that she is helping draw people closer to the God who loves them. She has been playing guitar for 8 years and has been involved with the worship team at Shepherd Youth for the same amount of time. In addition to writing music and worship ministry, her passion is mentoring middle school girls. It will also be her pleasure to serve you up a mean Chic-Fil-A sandwich!

ALEX STRAHLE
Don't let the denim and vintage spectacles fool you! Alex is a musical force to be reckoned with! Alex was born into a musical family and picked up guitar at a very early age. He is a very talented musician who brings complexity and intricacy to every musical situation, yet he does it with finesse and simplicity. Alex is also an Americana / Alternative touring and studio guitarist, and takes influence from Buddy Miller, T-Bone Burnett, John Leventhal, and Nels Cline. Skills a side, Alex has a pure heart when it comes to worship and he enjoys seeing people respond to Jesus Christ.

SEAN MASSEY
Think of a question... any question. Got it? Sean probably already knows the answer to it! Also, if beard length were the truest form of wisdom, then we would have one very wise man here! Joking a side, Sean is a man of various talents and skills. When playing music with us, he uses an array of pianos and synths to create a wonderful worship and musical experience. However, his true passion and business is live production, predominantly in churches and houses of worship. Sean seeks to help churches and individuals create an experience that is of highest quality and points to the greatness of God.
