About a year ago, we had set out to write a Christmas song that was both seasonal and worshipful.
Jesus's birth was not only God breaking the silence with the Israelites but the start of a new way of life. A Kingdom built on grace, humility, love, and salvation. This radically changed the world by revealing God’s heart for all mankind.
A man named Simeon, that Luke tells us about, recognizes that right away when seeing the child saying, “my eyes have seen salvation.” This song is a celebration of that reality.
